"Oh shit! Who's beer did I kick over?'
"Whadda ya' mean "no drink specials for the band '?
"Oh shit! Who kicked over my beer?'
"Started playing rythym when I was 11.Switched over to bass when I was 17.scraped together a few bucks and (much to my parents dismay)got my first bass amp.It was used and abused, had pterodactyls flying around it but it was mine and it was loud .All was good.
Cut my teeth listening to old Sabbath,Rush(all hail Geddy),Iron Maiden,Priest,Ozzy(solo),Zepplin,Nugent,Van Halen,Floyd.................
Through the years got into bands like Alice in Chains,Soundgarden,Audioslave,Altar Bridge........
Jammed with several bands over the years then, met Don in the late 90's and started coming over to the garage(The Ratcave) in 2000.Nine years later and I'm still there............(Can't find the damn door)
"When I was a kid,my older brother brought home the coolest music-Sabbath,Rush,Queen,Zepplin, Yes.....all of the great stuff. He was a singer in a band and I was the little pest sister who wanted to jam in the worst way.Music resonated with me more than anything ever.Did plays, musicals, and played woodwinds in school.Started jammin' at 16,found out I could actually carry a tune and it was balls out from there.Told dad at 17,I wanted to sing.He said I'd been ruining his furniture and blowing his speakers pretending I was Ozzy for years"Might as well get paid for it".Went to L.A. at 19.Played in a band called Sudden Impact. After 10 yrs.,went back to Detroit to do musical theatre for 2 yrs..Tried to quit playin' for 6 yrs. to go back to school and start a business......turned into a miserable bitch.
Jammed for a couple of yrs. in various basements with Grif. Then,he called and said the band he was in needed a singer. That was 6 yrs. ago.Just happy to still be jammin' after all this time.Especially with such handsome, talented dudes....Hey,they actually put up with my shit!
Major influences;Ozzy,Freddy Mercury,Geddy Lee and Geoff Tate.
